1954 PEGASO Z-102 SERIES II SAOUTCHIK

Written by Lee King

One of only seven, the 1954 Pegaso Z-102 Series II Saoutchik ($725,000) has found its way onto the auction market. Still boasting its original matching-numbers engine, the car has an advanced high-performance twin-cam V-8 engine with a top speed of 150mph. The Z-102 chassis was designed by Parisian coachbuilder, Saoutchik and features a low roofline and curved fenders with round Marchal headlights and poignant wheels. The interior has been finished in tuxedo-hued livery with a cream roof while accents of chrome can be spotted throughout. An expertly restored motor vehicle for the most passionate of car collectors.
