1959 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/6

Written by Lee King

If you’re in to vintage rides, then you have to appreciated this 1959 Austin Healey 100/6 ($$80K-$100K) which is currently up for auction. The 100/6 represents one of the most radical steps in the Healey’s development. This particular car features the classic Healey Blue over Ivory White. The engine is a 2,639cc OHV inline 6-cylinder, with two SU H6 carburetors. Paired with a 4-speed manual transmission it puts out about 117 bhp and reaches a top speed of about 111 mph. So if you’re in Philly and want a classic ride, stop by the Simeone Foundation Automative Museum on October 6th.
