1969 FORD BRONCO HALF CAB

Written by Lee King

Ford’s first compact SUV and launched during its racing era, the 1969 Ford Bronco U14 Half Cab ($AUCTION) is one of under 2,500 produced during its year. Finished in a rare Code-A Raven Black paint combination that was further limited to just 42 models, the iconic shape of this recognizable vehicle runs on a rebuilt 302 CI V-8 engine with the original 3-speed transmission. Custom Bronco shifter knobs and Mustang Pony interior upholstery stay true to aesthetics of the era while the addition of an OE style AM/FM radio with Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity brings it into the 21st century.
