The Charge Electric Mustang

Written by Lee King

If you have half a mil burning a hole in your pocket, then I gotta a car to sell ya. The Charge Electric Mustang ($455,000) is an absolute dream machine for any vintage car buff. Charge, a British company based in London, will build 499 brand-new electric mustangs which you can reserve now. Their engineers contributed to projects for the likes of McClaren, Jaguar Land Rover, and F1 Racing Teams. So you know they know what they’re doing.

In this project, they took the body style of the 1967 Mustang and paired it with advanced electric technology to usher in an emission-free future. The car pushes 540 horses, making 1,000 lb-ft of torque. AS well as driving all four wheels through an all-wheel-drive system. This setup allows the car to go from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Not too shabby.
