The Baume & Mercier Hampton “Hommage à Pierre Soulages 10641 Men’s Watch ($5850) is a tribute to one of my favorite artists. Pierre is a French Abstract painter who creates these giant minimalist paintings with amazing texture. The Baume & Mercier watch features a black, textured watch face that resembles one of his pieces. The beautiful thing about Pierre’s artwork is the way he uses light. The 10641 perfectly emulates that effect. The DLC coated stainless steel case with sapphire crystal case back has an interchangeable nubuck alligator strap. This is a limited edition piece. Baume & Mercier are making just 102 pieces.
