Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Watch: The Worlds Thinnest Mechanical Watch
Year after year, Bulgari has worked to produce ultra-thin watches. In 2014 they created the thinnest Tourbillon movement – 1.95mm. In 2016 they created the thinnest Minute Repeater movement – 3.12mm. And in 2019 they created the thinnest Chronograph – 3.30mm. This effort culminated in the creation of the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Men’s Watch ($450,000).
The Ultra is the world’s thinnest mechanical watch coming in at just 1.8mm thick. So it’s just about as thick as a quarter. The case is 40mm and comes with an integrated bracelet. Even with the watch’s limited dimensions, the Ultra has 50 hours of power reserve. There will only be ten of these beauties created. And each owner will receive an exclusive NFT artwork guaranteeing the authenticity of the watch and the connection to its owner. Watch owners can access the NFT via the QR code etched on the watch’s movement. They will also be able to use the NFTs in the metaverse.
