The Carbon Flyer Drone ($99) is touted as “the world’s first all carbon fiber personal drone, controlled by Bluetoth, with an onboard video camera.”
The other feature they’re also pushing is the fact the drone is highly durable. For anyone whose ever owned a drone, you know eventually you’re going to experience a crash. At that point you’re just keeping your fingers crossed hoping you didn’t break something major.
Along with its carbon fiber package, this flyer also includes a low drag delta-wing design for controlled high speed flight, and two motors with differential thrust for easy steering.
Additional features inclUDe a 640 x 480 video camera, which records video to an onboard micro SD card, and a hot-swappable 150mAh lithium polymer battery that provides about 3 minutes of flight time.
