Connor Wood Bicycles was founded by Chris Connor in 2012. He took his two loves of woodworking and cycling, combined them and created the Connor Woody Cruiser Bike ($3500). The Woody is made from hand-sculpted Ash and Walnut that is steam bent and reinforced with Kevlar. The wood is finished off with a marine grade spar varnish and features coaster brakes, 29er wheels with fat tires, a two-speed internal gearhub, and sweepback wood/kevlar handlebars. The bike weighs in at 25lbs and comes in multiple sizes.
