FLYTE: THE LEVITATING LIGHT
From Simon Morris, comes Flyte: The Levitating Light ($249). Flyte combines magnetic levitation with induction, to float a light and power it through the air. So that your Flyte lasts a long time it uses energy-efficient LEDs, that are safe and never need to be replaced. And it is environmentally responsible by crafting a base which is made from sustainably sourced Ash, Oak, and Walnut.
To get Flyte working just line up the center of the bulb with the center of the base. When the light comes on, let go. You can also turn the light on and off just by touching the base.
But that’s not all, when your not using your light, the base can be used to wirelessly charge electronics like your phone.
