The Grids & Guides: A Notebook for Visual Thinkers ($13) is perfect for right or left brainers, basically all creative types who think visually. It was inspired by vintage laboratory notebooks, and features 144 pages of eight graph paper designs, with a multitude of scientific charts, tables and infographics interspersed throughout the book. The charts include such items as a periodic table, alternative alphabets, and Newton’s Laws of Motion.
