HIVEHAUS FLAT-PACKED HONEYCOMB HOUSE

Written by Lee King

The brain child of Barry Jackson, the Hivehaus Flat-Packed Honeycomb House ($TBA) is an easy to build self-contained micro house. Based on the honeycomb structures that bees build the Hivehaus is constructed of individual cells which are customizable enough to offer a layout to fit any need. Each cell is about 100 square feet, is fitted with six LED down lights, four electrical sockets, and your choice of doors and windows. If you want to take your structure off grid solar panels and composting toilets are also available for purchase.
