Japanese Kiridashi Pocket Knife

Written by Lee King

If you’re looking for a minimalistic pocket knife the Japanese Kiridashi Pocket Knife ($115) is the perfect option. Even though it’s an extremely simple blade, it is also highly functional. It can be used for cutting rope, opening boxes, carving, and much more. This particular blade is made from recycled files which are known by knife makers as utilizing some of the best steel for knife making. The steel is easy to sharpen and maintains its edge for an extended period. Because this blade uses an asymmetrical grind you will need to choose a left or right-handed blade. When you order it will come with a custom-made leather sleeve and a leather lanyard.
