Maarten Baas is a Dutch designer who has been creating the Smoke collection since 2002. The Smoke Chair is actually burned and then preserved and strengthened with a clear epoxy coating. The entire collection includes an armchair, dining chair and chandelier. Each piece made is unique and will differ due to the process. The upholstery is black leather.
