The Marbel Electric Skateboard ($1199) is the world’s lightest electric skateboard, can go up to 20 miles per hour and has a 10+ miles range. The Marbel deck is made from a proprietary carbon fiber and kevlar layup that is molded into a unibody deck. The entire setup weighs in at just 9.9 pounds. The battery technology, similar to what you would find in a Tesla, features a lithium-ion battery with a custom management system that will go about 10 miles on a full charge, while only taking about 90 minutes to recharge.
