The Mason jar Speaker ($65) is a very cool novelty gift from Uncommon Goods. It was originally created by Adam Wegener and Ron Sloat who wanted to combine their love of engineering, design, art and music. The speaker fits into the cap of a mason jar and features a 2 inch full range driver. Just plug in your mp3 player and your good to go. It uses 3 AAA batteries for power which will get you about 20 hours of play time.
