Built to last and guaranteed forever.” This statment by the company definitely applies to one of my favorite bags, the Mission Workshop Monty-Advanced Messenger Bag ($265). This bag features a front zip pocket that can store a 13″ laptop. And a main compartment that can fit a 15″ laptop. None of that storage does you any good if your gear gets soaked in a downpour.
To make this bag waterproof it utilizes three different fabric variations: High Tenacity HT500, MultiCam Black Cordura, and 10 oz. American-made waxed canvas. They also lined each bag with a lightweight urethane-coated ripstop liner. And they didn’t skimp on the smaller details either. From YKK zippers, some of the best you can buy, to Milspec webbing, and aluminum hardware. A perfect bag even for those short weekend trips. The Monty-Advanced comes in five different color variations.
