SPYDERCO ASSIST BLACK BLADE
The Spyderco Assist Black Blade ($84) is an emergency knife designed for professionals and civilians who need a tool that functions in unexpected, high-pressure situations. The blunt-tipped blade is made for slicing fibrous material like seat belts and ropes. The upper portion of the blade is made for smaller detailed cutting. When the blade is closed you can squeeze the blade past its natural resting position to activate the carbide tip at the base of the handle to break glass. Lastly, outlined in orange, along the spine of the handle is a safety whistle. Put everything together and you get a perfect tool for your EDC pack.
