The makers of the ORU Folding Kayak are now taking pre-orders. The Bay Kayak is made for folks with limited space, who still what to take advantage of the outdoors. The origami skin of the kayak easily folds to transition from the carrying case to the boat. It comes with a comfortable foam seat and backrest for those long trips. The Oru Kayak ($1575) is 12 feet long, 25 inches wide and 13 inches high. When folded the Oru becomes its own case measuring (33″X29″x10″). It has enough additional room to hold a life vest, and a paddle. The Oru is expected to start delivery in June.
