TIKO: THE $179 3D PRINTER

Written by Lee King

If you’ve been sitting on the fence about getting a 3D printer, then maybe this is just the kick you needed. Tiko: The $179 3D Printer ($179), is the least expensive printers I’ve seen advertised. The printer features a unibody constructions, wich provides it with strength and sustainable accuracy. Basically you spend more time printing and less time trying to calibrate your machine. Additional features include printing down to 50 microns, an enclosed printing environment, Wi-Fi so you can print from anywhere, and a printing volume up to 138.3 cubic inches. The Tiko might be too difficult to pass up. But don’t think too long because its Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign goes away in 17 days.
