A few years ago, TOPs ran an employee contest to see who could design the best hatchet, tomahawk, or ax. The winner was Lorenzo Espinoza and his creation was the TOPS Grandpa’s Ax ($240). The Grandpa’s Ax is the perfect combination of size, weight, and chopping capability. It’s a small hatchet, weighing under 1.5 pounds, allowing it to be carried over long distances.
