TOVOLO ICE SPHERE MOLD

A while back we wrote about a Japanese made Ice Ball Maker. It made 1.2 inch perfectly round ice balls but cost around $300. The Tovolo Ico Sphere Mold ($10) can basically do that same thing at a much lower cost. The package comes with two silicone molds that can make two 2.5″ ice spheres. The molds are stackable and can easily fit in any refrigerator. The expensive version works by taking a large ice cube and compressing it in the mold. This version works by filling the molds with water and freezing them. Either device will give you a great final product so you can really enjoy an awesome glass of your favorite drink.
