TOWNSHIPS FARMHOUSE BY LAMAS

The Lee and Macgillivray Architecture Studio (LAMAS) have created a modern farmhouse with their Townships Farmhouse ($NFS) project. The home is a private residence located in North Hatley, QC in Canada. The idea was to take a working farm and the concept of the aisle for bringing in materials and livestock and recreate it for capturing views of the surrounding fields. But because there is a central courtyard the interior spaces can be superimposed on the landscape providing the viewer with unexpected and beautiful compositions.
