The base of California, ICON creates hardcore machines by hand out of Jeeps and trucks. The vehicles they work most with are the Ford Bronco, Jeep CJ, and Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Today we’re going to take a look at the Toyota ICON Land Cruiser FJ40 ($130,000). Their customized FJ40 features all-aluminum body panels and a frame that’s reinforced with steel rails. You have two options when it comes to the power plant. It comes standard with a Vortec 5.3-liter V8 with 350 horses or a customized 5.7-liter V8 LS6 that pushes 420 horses and 458-foot pounds of torque. Despite its ruggedness, the ICON FJ40 would make a great daily use vehicle, but like any big dog, it’ll want to hit the trails once in a while.
