WEISS FIELD WATCH

Written by Lee King

Weiss is an American watchmaking company that makes vintage looking pieces with mechanical movements. All of their watches are created by hand in Los Angles, California. Their latest release is the Weiss Field Watch ($950). The Field Watch features a manually wound Caliber 1001 movement, which is made from 100 Swiss made parts that are hand-finished and assembled in L.A. The case and caseback are made from solid stainless steel and polished by hand. Additional features include Super-Luminova on the hands, sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 100 meters.
