75 YEARS OF DC COMICS

Written by Lee King

Back in 1935, the founder of DC Comics Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson published the first edition of New Fun, the first ever comic book that boasted brand new and original material. This was at a time when comic books were considered to be just repositories for those cast off newspaper strips. The intent of this was to be a disposable children’s media but it actually became the 20th century’s very own mythology. 75 Years Of DC Comics ($195) is the singularly most comprehensive book on the legend that is DC Comics, released to tie in with their 75th birthday. There are so many gems packed inside here it becomes a must have book for everyone.
