DUCATI 749 BY APOGEE MOTORWORKS

Written by Lee King

This beautiful piece of work started off as a stock Ducati 749. After some heavy modifications, it turned into the Ducati 749 by Apogee Motorworks ($CALL). Apogee started off by replacing the engine with a 749R that has a higher redline than the stock version. Additional upgrades included racing cams, titanium valves, valve guides and connecting rods. They then re-engineered the subframe and fuel tank so the seat could be adjusted to fit the rider. If you want one of these bad boys for yourself and have a Trellis-framed Ducati sitting around, give the guys over at Apogee a call and they’ll build one for you.
