HONDA MC-BETA CONCEPT

Written by Lee King

Getting around in the city can be nerve wracking and trying to parallel pack is also a pain, similar to trying to thread a needle. But Honda has just announced its newest version of its electric commuter car the Honda MC-Beta Concept ($TBA) which it’s starting to field test around two japanese cities this month.
The MC-Beta features an 11 kW engine that will provide you with a top speed of 45mph, which mean you won’t be taking this guy on the autobahn any time soon. The cool thing is you can use your tablet as a remote to control the car. It slots into the dash and can perform such functions as parallel parking ad a duck following following feature which involves locking onto the car in front of you and following at a close distance. Breaking and steering are all done automatically. Expect to see the MC-Beta on the road in about five years.
