LUMUS DK-40 AUGMENT REALITY GLASSES

Written by Lee King

The Lumus DK-40 Augment Reality Glasses ($TBA) were just revealed ahead of CES 2014. The glasses feature a 640 x 480 display that overlays messages in front of the wearer and not off to the side like Google Glass. This works via Lumus’ Light-guide Optical Element which is basically a small projector that displays an image on the lens. But don’t get your hopes up. The DK-40 will mostly be used as a platform for OEM’s who will bring the technology to the public. Expect more information to be released at CES 2014.
