MB&F HM6 SPACE PIRATE WATCH

Written by Lee King

MB&F makes some strange looking watches. From their Frog, and thunderbolt, to their latest creations, each MB&F timepiece is a work of art that you just happen to wear on your wrist. The MB MB&F HM6 Space Pirate Watch ($230K) is specifically designed to operate in the hostile environment of space. The space on your wrist that is. The first thing you notice are the four domes and the one central dome on the watch face. Each dome is a 360-degree sphere, the top two spheres display hours and minutes, while the bottom two house twin spherical turbines that automatically regulate the winding system. The center dome houses a 60-second flying tourbillon. If necessary this sphere can be protected from UV radiation by a retractable shield operated by the crown on the left side of the case. The movement of the HM6 is made from 475 highly engineered components which required over three years of development. If you have the quarter mil you should jump on this one, because only 100 of the HM6 will be made.
