The Pacific Rim Movie ($TBA) looks pretty cool. It’s about a future Earth where a monster comes from the ocean depths and attacks Osaka, Japan. We find out the monster comes from a portal, to another world that, is five miles below the ocean. The problem is that it is spitting out monster after monster, and they are attacking coastal cities around the world. In order to fight them the military creates the “Jaeger” program. Pilots in the program operate building sized robots to try and combat the monsters. Pacific Rim is directed by Guillermo Del Toro and is expected to be released on July 12th.
