PROMETHEUS
In recent years there has been a trend for producing the prequels to successful movies, think Star Wars for a prime example, and Prometheus ($13) follows this trend as it is the prequel to the Alien series of movies. An exploration team discover the origins of mankind on earth and their journey leads them to the furthest corners of the universe and a fearsome force that nobody knew existed. Thus follows an epic battle to save the human race. Directed by Ridley Scott and starring Naomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green and Michael Fassbender, this is a fascinating insight into what brought about the Alien series, as well as being a stand out movie in its own right.
