QUANT E-SPORTLIMOUSINE RUNS ON SALT WATER

Written by Lee King

I have to say I’m a bit skeptical on this one. I mean if there was a car out there that was able to run on salt water, I would think we’d be hearing more about it. The QUANT E-Sportlimousine ($TBA) claims to be a luxury sportscar that runs on salt water. It first made its debut at the 2014 geneva motor show and has now been approved for public roads. Its powerplant features an electric motor strapped to each wheel and a nanoFLOWcell electrolyte flow cell power system. The system is powered purely by salt water and has a range of 600 kilometers. The 912 horses from the engine will get you to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds. Here’s hoping this turns out to be the real deal.
