Seiko Black Series Prospex Limited Edition

Written by Lee King

In March, Seiko will drop four new updates to its Seiko Black Series Prospex Limited Edition Watches ($1460+). Each watch is intended to invoke the world of night diving. The four models represent re-interpretations of watches from 1965, 1968, and 1970. Each features a mechanical Caliber 6R35 movement which delivers a reserver of 70 hours. Both the hands and hour markers are coated with Lumibrite for easy reading in the darkest of conditions. The cases are made of Stainless steel and are topped off with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Water-resistance is down to 200m, so pretty good. These are limited editions so expect them to sell out pretty fast when they drop in March.
