SMART CLOUD
This is probably one of the more original products we’ve seen come out in a long time. The Smart Cloud ($3360) is the creation of The Richard Clarkson Design Studio, based out of New York and New Zealand. The studio was originally founded by Richard in 2013 as an experimental product, lighting and furniture studio. They offer consultancy, product and experience design. But they also produce their own projects, one of which being the Cloud.
The Smart Cloud ($3360) is an interactive lamp and speaker system that mimics a thundercloud. By using motion sensors it can detect your presence and creates a unique lightning and thunder show based on your movement. The powerful speaker system can stream music via bluetooth and the color-changing lights adapt to your specifications. The Cloud also has additional modes so it can be used as a nightlight and music reactive mode.
