The Bal house by Terry and Terry Architecture Firm ($TBA) is a beautifully designed 2000 sq ft ranch in Menlo Park, CA. The house was created for a retiring couple who required space which was easily accessible. It has two areas, a bedroom wing and a main living area, which are connected by a transparent hallway. The hallway provides views to the garden, and extends all the way into the core of the house. We love smaller modern homes that show what right sizing is all about.
