The Autobiography of Gucci Mane

Written by Lee King

The Autobiography of Gucci Mane ($17) is the artists story in his own words. The book was started while he was serving time in a maximum-security prison. He came out of prison a different person. Sober, focused and with a positive attitude. Gucci Mane was born Radric Delantic Davis in rural Bessemer, Alabama. When he eventually moved to Atlanta he made his name first as a dope man, and then a rapper. But he couldn’t stay out of his own way. He was involved in violence, drug addiction, and eventually served time. He says he’s a changed man and if this holds true it could be one of the greatest come back stories ever told.
