The 1980s were a great decade for some awesome movies, and a good example of this is 48 Hrs. ($8). Directed by Walter Hill and starring Nick Nolte, Eddie Murphy, and Annette O’Toole, this movie is a must-have for anyone who loves the comedy crime genre. 48 HRS. is about the unlikely pairing of a cop and a wise-cracking criminal who work together to find a killer. Some of the top scenes include Eddie singing Roxanne, Luther and the car door, the western bar scene, and Nick and Eddie’s fight scene. This is without a doubt Eddie Murphy’s best movie.
