The petrol heads at Top Gear bring us the undisputed, coolest 500 rides on earth in the book Top Gear: The Cool 500 ($30). Ever since that day in 1885 when Karl Benz powered up his Patent Motorwagon for the first time man has been swooning and salivating over all things automobiles, and none have done this moor than the team at the Top Gear Magazine. They have critiqued, test driven and worshipped some of the very finest cars in the history of motoring. There are many who have fallen short of the exacting standards set by Top Gear but there are others which have triumphed and been so darned cooled they have been termed “SubZero”. A great book for anyone whose Facebook profile contains no photos of cars than anything else.
