TRUE ROMANCE
The title of this movie makes you instantly think chick flick, but this action packed adventure written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott is about as far removed from one as you can get. Starring Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette and Dennis Hopper, True Romance ($7) is the story about a man who marries a hooker then steals her pimp’s cocaine stash. He then tries to find a buyer in Hollywood while the pimp tries to retrieve his coke, not exactly the ingredients for a fluffy romantic film. A great movie with excellent performances by the cast, this is one that deserves to be in your DVD collection.
