Willard (Martin Sheen) and his secret assignment to travel through Vietnam, down the Nung River, to find and kill Special Forces Colonel Walter E. Kurtz (Marlon Brando). The cast includes other heavyweights like Robert Duvall, Laurence Fishburne, Dennis Hopper, and a young Harrison Ford. Apocalypse now is a gripping, disturbing, and dark movie that definitely makes an impact.
